The sound-light-space intervention explored the transformation of a place. The audio recordings originate from the exploration and investigation of Vienna’s Donau City. These traces were installed site-specifically in the Remter of the DA, Kunsthaus, inviting visitors on a virtual acoustic walk through Vienna’s Donau City. As a reference to the room’s former use, the windows were covered with yellow light film. The dining halls of a monastery were usually oriented southwest, allowing diners to be bathed in sunlight during meals. In this way, visitors could immerse themselves in a specific spatial situation, enveloped by both the distinctive acoustic character and the dynamic lighting conditions.
